FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS *

  • El Rey Court in Santa Fe is our dream home base for the weekend! We've secured a room block with a special discount code, and we'd absolutely love to have everyone we care about staying in one place. Fun fact: during our first visit here, way too early in our relationship, we both secretly had the same thought – "I could see myself getting married here someday." While our ceremony will be in Pecos, El Rey Court holds a special place in our hearts and we can't think of a better spot for our wedding weekend home base.

The welcome party on Friday will be at El Rey Court, making it extra convenient for those staying there. Plus, the hotel's communal spaces and courtyards are perfect for impromptu hangouts throughout the weekend.

  • You've got two great options for getting to Santa Fe. First up is Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF), a smaller airport just 15 minutes from downtown. While it's usually a bit pricier, you'll save time and transportation costs. SAF offers direct flights from Dallas, Denver, and Phoenix, but heads up – the flight schedule is limited, so book early if you're eyeing this option.

Your other choice is Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), about an hour's drive from Santa Fe. ABQ is a larger airport with more frequent flights from major cities, better prices, and more rental car options. If you're flying into ABQ and don't want to drive, check out the Sandia Shuttle, which runs between the airport and several Santa Fe locations.

We'll share a Google sheet to help coordinate carpools closer to the wedding date.

  • While we haven't quite mastered weather forecasting for October 2025 (if you know someone who has, we'd love their number!), here's what we can tell you about October in Santa Fe and Pecos: Think crisp fall days and cooler nights. Santa Fe typically sees daytime highs around 65-70°F and evening lows that can dip into the 40s. Pecos, being at a slightly higher elevation, usually runs about 5 degrees cooler.

Our advice? Layer up! The New Mexico sun is bright and warm during the day, but you'll want a cozy jacket once the sun sets. And yes, the desert thing is real – bring lip balm and drink lots of water. The elevation is no joke (Santa Fe sits at 7,200 feet, and Pecos is even higher), so take it easy as you adjust to the altitude.

  • Since both of us are immunocompromised, we've planned the majority of our events to be outdoors. While we're excited to celebrate with everyone, we also want to keep our community safe. We'll have masks available throughout the weekend, and we kindly ask that you wear them during your flights and in crowded indoor spaces. Taking these precautions means we can all focus on celebrating together worry-free.

We appreciate your understanding and care in helping protect not just us, but all our loved ones who will be joining us.

  • We're arranging transportation between El Rey Court and Field Trip (our venue in Pecos) for the wedding day. If you prefer to drive yourself, no worries – there's plenty of parking at Field Trip! We'll share more specific details about the shuttle timing and pickup location as we get closer to the big day.

  • If your invitation included a plus one or listed your guest's name, then absolutely! If not, we ask that you join us solo – we're aiming to keep our celebration intimate with just our closest family and friends, especially given our shortened timeline. We appreciate your understanding!

  • Absolutely! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you... Hydrate accordingly and get ready to celebrate!
