DRESS CODE
🏜️🪩✨desert disco dreams 🏜️🪩✨
Dress BOLD, not costume. Think high fashion with a dash of desert drama. We want to see unexpected colors, statement silhouettes, and looks that command attention against a New Mexico sunset. White is off limits, but everything else is fair game. Pull inspiration from vintage wedding attire, Western elegance, and pure disco energy. Special request from Alex: women in suits strongly encouraged!
Some Starting Points:
That piece you've been saving for "somewhere special"
Metallic moments
Unexpected color combinations
Vintage treasures
Bolo ties and cowboy boots
A touch of turquoise or silver
Power suits in any color (except white!)
Important Notes:
is this your first queer wedding?
straight allies, we love you. we see you. no need to prove your pride by showing up in rainbow, we already know you support us. instead, think vibrant colors or any bold statement piece that makes you feel good <3
The venue is outdoors on grass – choose your footwear accordingly
Desert nights get chilly – bring a fabulous coat or jacket for after sunset (we'll have heaters, but better to be prepared!)
Welcome Party Attire
Friday night is more casual than the ceremony – still festive, but no need for full desert disco mode (unless you really want to). Think chic but relaxed, perfect for kicking off the weekend in style!
